Start with a simple yarn bag and end with a quilted needle case. Dust off your sewing machine and get started on this fun filled 4 part series of patterns!

Once purchased, you will receive a downloadable PDF with detailed instructions and images as well as patterns

Each pattern includes:

  • List of supplies
  • Full scale pattern pieces printable on 8.5" x 11" paper (where applicable)
  • Detailed step by step instructions
  • High resolution photos

Materials & Tools Needed:

  • Paper scissors
  • Sewing machine with a wound bobbin
  • Basic sewing kit i.e., fabric scissors, pins, seam ripper, etc.
  • Yarn Bag:

    • ¼ yard canvas (exterior)
    • ¼ yard cotton fabric (lining)
    • Matching thread
  • Zipper Pouch:

    • ¼ yard canvas (exterior)*
    • ¼ yard cotton fabric (lining)
    • 10” nylon zipper
    • (2) 3.5” cuts of ½” double fold bias tape or (2) 3.5” x 2” fabric pieces (to create zipper tabs)
    • (2) 2” pieces of ⅜” ribbon (to create pull tabs for the sides)
    • Matching thread
    • Zipper Foot
  • Quilted Tote:

    • ½ yard pre quilted fabric*
    • 108” (1”) cotton webbing
    • 2 yards ½” double fold bias tape
    • 1.25” D ring
    • Matching thread
  • Quilted Needle Case:

    • 11” x 18” Quilted Fabric for exterior*
    • 30” cotton fabric for pockets and lining*
      • Big pocket: 12.5”W x 16”H
      • Medium pocket: 12.5”W x 12.5”H
      • Little pocket: 12.5”W x 9”H
      • Lining: 18”W x 11”H
      • Flaps: (2) 6”W x 6”H
    • 6” x 6” square of stabilizer or thicker fabric
    • 3 snaps
    • 2 yards ½” double fold bias tape*
    • (24”) ⅜” grosgrain ribbon*
    • Small elastic no metal hair tie*
    • ½” button, preferably a shank button*
